Concrete Floors
Concrete foundations can be transformed into beautiful stone-like surfaces or engraved to look like luxurious tiles of any size. Many colors and color techniques are available. Colors are stained into (not on top of) concrete. The colors react with the concrete to create a beautiful translucent, variegated natural stone appearance. Also, to create extra drama they can be engraved with special tools to create beautiful inlaid tile designs. Both template and free-hand art designs can be engraved to create unique, one of a kind floors. Beautiful border designs can also add to a unique custom look. This process can be applied to old or new concrete.
Concrete resurfacing overlays are also available. This resurfacing material is exceptionaly durable and can be applied over existing concrete where surfaces are badly damaged by abuse or the elements.
Concrete is very easy to maintain, allergen free and can be easily touched up if damaged. Another benefit is that concrete maintains a comfortable temperature because it absorbs and retains the heat or cool temperatures of the room.
