Acid staining transforms ordinary concrete into luxurious beauty. There is much potential in floors, walks and driveways, patios, pool decks. Concrete is everywhere and there are many benefits and advantages to "transforming existing concrete" from plain gray to WOW! The design is "IN" not "ON" the Concrete. Transformation changes the color of the concrete. The coloring agents used are not paint products. They are translucent stains. Imperfections and inconsistencies are not covered as they would be with paints. The marbling, variegations and occasional surface irregularities enhance the natural appearance of the finished product and are the reason acid staining is such a unique concept. The process creates a reaction with minerals in the concrete creating a variegated stone look, with varying degrees of intensity. One stain can create up to three color variations. The color and intensity varies from surface to surface and is affected by the personality of the concrete. Each part will reveal its own particular warmth and personality. The result is a clean mottled translucent look, making each one unique.
Concrete engraving equipment cuts nearly dust free, will create perfectly straight cuts and exact circular or rock patterns at a consistent depth. The process can be applied to old or new concrete. You can also engrave company logos, intricate designs, artwork, lettering and a multitude of other graphic patterns and designs of any size or shape. with a few modifications you can completely maximize your curb appeal or make dazzling interior floors. Think about this for a moment... doesn't it make the most sense to simply use the original existing concrete? Changing the color and adding design patterns is quite cost effective and time saving (no need to remove old concrete and pour a new). An additional benefit is found in the way concrete absorbs the temperature of the room and provides a comfortable walking surface.
